Everyone is wondering what TV shows have been renewed or canceled? Lucky for you, the annual network upfronts are on their way and the networks are setting up their lineups for the 2012-2013 TV season.
The upfronts are where the networks sell TV ad time to the ever-important advertisers for a season. These sales sessions usually net the basic networks around $10 billion (per season), give or take a billion, in support of producing and airing the programming. (The upfronts are the discounted sales session. Ads are still sold throughout the year/season.)
