This second season of Spartacus called Spartacus Vengeance, saw the challenge that Spartacus (Liam McIntyre) faced as a free man. That is to unite a fighting force, in search for the change to live and die as free men.
Joining Spartacus was Crixus (Manu Bennett), Doctore (Peter Mensah) & Gannicus (Dustin Clare). And along the way, the women in the slave/gladiator gang became valuable, kick-ass members of this rag-tag group of rebels also, including Mira (Katrina Law), Naevia (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) and that wild fighting blond, Saxa (Ellen Hollman).

On the Roman side of things, Glaber (Craig Parker) pursued Spartacus, mostly at the expense of his own public image after a number of failed attempts to trap the man while that dishonorable stinkbug Ashur (Nick E. Taraby) had manuevered himself into a trusted position with Glaber.
The ladies themselves had their own set of confused and twisted plans… as they had found Lucretia alive and mentally unbalanced early on in the season. As daft as Lucretia was, Llithyia had her own problems, wanting out of her marital arrangement from Glabor, but when Glabor killed her father, that made the divorce now improbable.
Do NOT Hire Lucretia to be your mid-wife!
No one was happy and everyone was plotting.

Terra Nova Won’t Be Going to Netflix
Netflix is apparently bailing on trying to save Terra Nova. Which isn’t a surprise to me, being as how expensive it was to produce for the network with deeper pockets. Plus I wasn’t so sure it could happen if the cast had moved on to other projects already. Be it as it may,
“Netflix and 20th Television unable to come to terms to revive the series.”
And on a scary note for the cast, the production studio still holds options on the cast, so if Fox does get it going… the cast would have to drop what they’re doing or try to make arrangements.
