First up is some TV news….

DOCTOR WHO SERIES 11.2, Karen Gillan plays Amy Pond

Over the last few months, there’s been speculative news that Matt Smith is leaving Doctor Who.  But a few weeks after the initial report, there’s been a flurry of press bits being pumped out denying that he is leaving.

He is contractually obligated to fourteen more episodes of Doctor Who.

But while everyone is wondering about Matt Smith, we now learn that the Doctor’s companion actors, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill are leaving the Doctor Who production.

They will be back for the next upcoming season, but they’re headed out the door and the next season will be both actors’ final season.

{What is it with the turnover on this series?}

Steven Moffat teased that the end for their characters will be a heart breaking end.

So be it.

But I took to the series and read every single book.  (That’s an important point in a moment.)

Over on Cinema Blend, they question how Craig Brewer, who is noted as the writer (and director), could milk a trilogy out of the franchise.  Oh, but yee of little faith!
