Hugo Weaving in The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring
MTV’s Splash Page is reporting that Marvel Studios confirmed that Hugo Weaving will be playing the Red Skull in The First Avenger: Captain America.
I think that’s a great call. Weaving’s characters have ranged from evil computer avatar’s in The Matrix franchise, as a good half-elven Lord in The Lord of the Rings franchise. If you didn’t know, he voiced Megatron in the Transformers franchise. Do you remember Hugo from V for Vendetta? Think! That was a fun film. Hugo Weaving seems to be a constant in fantastic action movies. You can also look for him in Oranges and Sunshine, coming out this year!
