Boy am I slacking.  My in-laws are coming to town and I’ve been put to work cleaning and prepping.  But I thought I’d put out a quick list of what new titles have come to the plastic disc of entertainment, in both new DVD and Blu-rays this week, the week of August 2nd, 2011.

Starring Aaron Johnson, Chloë Moretz, Nicolas Cage, Chris Mintz-Plasse & Mark Strong

KICK ASS tells tells the story of teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who decides to become a real-life superhero. He assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime, but he has no superpowers. In doing so, he inspires a sub-culture of copy cats.
