CBS is doing it again, tackling, what is for me, one of my all-time favorite TV series of yesteryear, The Wild Wild West, which starred Robert Conrad & Ross Martin.
I was a huge, huge Robert Conrad fan from The Wild Wild West and Black Sheep Squadron TV series in the day and I miss characters like him as Secret Service Agent James T. West continually tackled two, three and more guys in scuffles and hid his toys and tools in nooks and crannies of his clothing, boots and hats. Dude, he was my role model in the day.
In the remake of this James Bond on horseback classic, CBS holds the rights and is now deploying them and aligning to powerhouse creators behind the title:
Naren Shankar (CSI, The Outer Limits, Farscape, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: The Next Generation) and
Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Carnivale, Roswell, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine & Star Trek: The Next Generation).
