Cinema Static Top-10 Movies & Box Office NumbersIt looks like two movies dethroned The Hunger Games this last weekend, with Think Like a Man taking in $33M in it’s premiere weekend and The Lucky One, also premiering this week, pulling in just under $23M.

New Movies at TheatersThis week, the new movies coming out on Friday, April 20th, are less block-buster and more heart wrenching and gut busting.  That and The Hunger Games will probably continue to dominate the box office.

Last Weekend’s Box Office

Brusimm's Box Office Movie Report At the Box Office last weekend, The Hunger Games still dominated, having pulled in $21M at the box office, passing the $330M mark, worldwide.

Three Stooges nabbed $17M in its opening weekend and the Joss Whedon produced Cabin in the Woods earned just under $15M.

Lockout premiered to a dismal $6M opening.

The re-release of the 3D Titanic nabbed it an additional $200+ million, bringing the worldwide income of the movie to over $2B.  So they added 2012 dollars to the 1997 movie from James Cameron, where a chunk of the box office money came from China.

Remember, overseas ticket prices can be much higher that ticket prices we pay here in the U.S..
