In a BBC Radio interview, John Barrowman confirmed that a 4th season of Torchwood is coming at us. The 4th season will have 13 episodes and will be taking up to 9 months to film.
I find that to be totally awesome news if you’re a Torchwood fan! I have to pipe in here: After Children of Earth, John Barrowman and Russell T Davies have their work cut out for them.
Torchwood: Children of Earth semi-spoiler:
How does Captain Jack return? Is he willing? Does he even care after what he did to save the Earth?
I’ve envisioned that when the Torchwood headquarters were blown up, another bit of him had regenerated and did not go through what his other part went through, and thus, not traumatized.
If you haven’t seen Torchwood: Children of Earth, I’d dare say that it was the best television I had ever seen in my life. I have my review of Torchwood: Children of Earth on site if you want to check it out.
Thanks to Blogtor Who for the posted radio interview for Torchwood!
!

I’m blithering all over myself to hear that Torchwood, will be getting a 4th season. Despite how Children of Earth may have ended, (No spoilers here!) Russell T Davies thinks that the new year could bring good news about Torchwood.
He says he has some great ideas and he’s ready to go!
Is that awesome or what? But then again, how the heck are they going to top Torchwood: Children of Earth? I think John Barrowman will have to bring it, and I’m sure he will.
Hopefully, we’ll get to see.

This is a spoiler free review of the Torchwood special titled Torchwood: Children of Earth. (In a word, the best television I’ve ever watched.)
I have never, in my life, ever been so moved or drawn into a television show like Torchwood: Children of Earth. It was a truly compelling and shocking series that still came off as incredibly entertaining. Russell T Davies brings an incredible story to the viewers where civilization snaps and we turn on ourselves.
The Children of Earth itself are used like tools all over the planet. It starts with a creepy scene where all children on Earth stop in their tracks and as one, say “We are coming.”
