The Conjuring 2, a Quick ReviewThe Conjuring 2, for those of you who like these kinds of movies, is just as good, if not possibly better than the first Conjuring. You don’t have to believe me, but Rotten Tomatoes scored it with an 80% while IMDb users rated it at 7.4/10.

The Conjuring 2 sees Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as the real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The new tormented family in this chapter of possessed family members includes the Hodgens, who are played by Madison Wolfe, France O’Connro, Lauren Esposito, Benjamin Haigh and Patrick McAuley.

The story is set in 1977, when the Warren’s travel to London, England, where a single mother believes that something evil is in her home. When the youngest girl of the family appears possessed, the Warren’s attempt to help the family. But surprisingly, it’s all a bit of bait and switch, as it seems that the Warren’s themselves are being targeted by a malicious spirit, baiting them to come across the ocean to London, to do them in.

The film starts with us watching the Warren’s partaking in one of the most famous huanted house stories of the modern era, the Amityville Horror house. In this opening sequence, we watch Lorraine, who is trying to connect with the spirits there, be given a vision of the death of Ed Warren, a vision that will haunt her for some time.
