Today, Netflix announced that due to their agreement with Warner Bros., you will have to wait a whole 28 days after any WB DVD release before it will become available for Netflix to rent.
Wasn’t I just saying that movies need to be released on all media and mediums on the same day to help the consumer? OH, wait, this is the greed gene in the business offices of WB speaking.
They add in that more direct-to-video and streaming titles will be available to Netflix.
Cripes.
This also seems to be a possible trend setter in deals with multiple studios.
