Fright Night 1985 w Roddy McDowall and William Ragsdale
We’ve been talking about Fright Night for some time and we haven’t had a set date for it’s release to the movie theaters. That is, until now. The preliminary release date for the Fright Night remake is October 11th, 2011.
We’re finally looking at an October time-frame for the vampire flick and to be honest, it’s not a bad month to release a vampire movie. I’m wondering why not closer to Halloween itself, but there may be some heavy hitters coming down the pipe later that month.
Movie release date positioning is a big chess game in Hollywood. Everyone has to look around to see what movies are coming out when and try to position their opening day to the best of their advantage.
