Times Square New Years Eve Ball

CBS News is reporting that it ain’t cheap to be in Times Square to watch the New Year’s Eve ball drop.  Me, I don’t mind hanging out in the warmth and comfort of my living room, but others believe in being in the right place at the right time to party!

For instance, TGI Friday’s in the Square is charging $200 for admission alone. The “Couples Champagne VIP Package,” goes for $899.

Ruby Tuesday’s is charging $350. The VIP package can cost $1,800.

The wax museum known as Madame Tussauds, charges $119 admission, with a VIP package for $1,399.

There are other opportunities that cost much less, but then, can cost much more too.

The ‘White Lotus’ NYC New Years Eve package starts at $95 but they have other VIP packages that can range from $160 to $5000.

Hammerstein Ballroom has VIP packages costing $7500.

Space Nightclub has a $3000 package.

Most of these packages are for multi-person parties,, upwards of 20 people.

It’s crazy but partying is partying. Right? As long as everyone is smart about their festive times.
