“Piranha 3D” is coming out to a theater near you on August 20th. In late July they relabeled some of their marketing to reflect that they’re movie was too hot for Comic Con 2010. (The preview material was too intense for the family friendly vibe that the showrunners of Comic Con were looking for.) But “P3D” showrunners ran with it, accepted being kicked out of the convention location with grace and booked a 2nd location to keep their Comic Con plans on track.
“Piranha 3D” stars Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Christopher Lloyd, Eli Roth, Kelly Brook, Jerry O’Connell, Ving Rhames & a boatload of others! Not unlike a certain network that plays a lot of mega monster movies, this one is about an underwater tremor cracks open a piece of the ocean floor, where these teethy bad fish have been hanging out for some time, waiting to be unleashed on a beach full of tight bodied sunbathers! Directed by Alexandre Aja (“Mirrors,” “High Tension”), it could be a fun flick!
