We here at Cinema Static just took a quick look back at 2009 and we sure had some real winners this year…

Michael Jackson leaving his fans.
Jon Goesllin going from an octo-dad to, um, a bachelor… (Anyone think of introducing him to Octo-mom?? Heck, it could be sequel to that wonderful +8 show.)
There was Chris Brown’s wonderful moments of control-loss.
Carrie Prejean was about as contradictory as anyone I’ve ever seen. The weird thing was that the moment I saw her on stage during the beauty pageant, I had made a private derogatory comment about her before this whole debacle started. I saw it in her eyes, and I’m not sure what it was I saw!
Well, at least balloon boy wasn’t actually in the damn balloon floating across the country-side. But wow, there was a real display of grade ? parenting!
Of course, it’s a swing and a swing, and a swing and a swing (14 of them) and a serious marital miss for Mr & Mrs Woods.
Someone was telling me that Tiger’s wife came from a broken family and swore to never have that… I hope that this doesn’t mean she’d consider the most … unbrilliant decision anyone could possibly make. She needs to move on. She’s a beautiful woman and can actually do better, emotionally, for herself. (Tiger! Stay away from octo-mom. I hear she’s lookin’ for more little ones!)
