Warehouse 13

Warehouse 13 set some more records during its second season on the Syfy Channel. WH13 averaged 3.4 million viewers, making it the most watched series of the year for Syfy.

Being such a ratings winner got Warehouse 13 a renewal for a third season, as it was just announced exclusively on THR.

Jack Kenny stays as the showrunner and even signed a development deal with Syfy in the meantime.

That means 13 more episodes of our Secret Service Agents posing as IRS agents. Pete (Eddie McClintock), Myka (Joanne Kelly) & Arty (Saul Rubinek) will be back!

I’ve noticed that the Syfy Channel tends to report their news as late as possible, whether it’s in regards to renewals or season premieres or what not. I think it’s a business testing practice. Other networks will announce things months ahead of time, but Syfy tends to keep things close to the vest and announce stuff as late as possible. It keeps the anticipation levels up!

Great news! I was starting to wonder what the hold up on announcing renewal was all about. Other than the predictability of knowing the vet was toast after Pete decided he loved her, the finale was really good. Sad to see H.G. Wells go but I guess it had to happen. Arty is always right.
