There’s TALK of a Smallville 11th Season – Don’t Hold Your Breath + Spoilers

"Homecoming" -- Tom Welling as Clark Kent in SMALLVILLE, on The CW Network.

Cutting right to the chase:  Over on E!Online, Megan Masters was writing up some bits that Smallville‘s show runners Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson were making note about how strong the TV ratings numbers have been and if there’s been talk of extending Smallville into an eleventh season.  The answer they gave to the media’s question was:  “I can’t say it’s the first time the words season 11 have crept up this year,” But they go on to point out that they’ve pitched this season as the final season of the show so they would seem to be committed to the action.  But of course they also add to never bet against themselves.  LOL.

After the 200th episode of Smallville, which was a great look at past, present and future Clark, there was apparently some questions in the air as to why Clark did not reveal his secret identity to Lois in the barn.  They said there was so much going on  that they wanted to focus on in the moment and the emotions of the moment.

Basically, this is just a hopeful web-byte that sucked me in… damnit!

SPOILER for Upcoming Smallville Episode

This week’s episode, Clark finally fesses up to Lois, that which she already knows – that he’s the blur.

I can’t wait to see how they handle that.  I remember when Clark told Lois in the Superman comic he was Superman… the closing panel of the book was him making the reveal.  The next issue of the comic opened with Lois laughing her butt off, thinking he was joking.  It was classic.

Bring on an 11th season and put Welling in the movie and give us a Kara Supergirl spin-off.
