GM announced that their endorsement contract with Tiger Woods, ended on December 31st.
It looks like GM isn’t too eager to have another one of their vehicles slamming into anything else these days.
The deal was that Tiger Woods endorsement deal, on top of the money, gave him access to free vehicles… yes, free. Though the contract itself ended in 2008, there was an extension that allowed continued free use GM cars until the end of 2009.
Befuddling
Though the details of the endorsement deal make sense from one angle, I always find it fascinating when a billionaire is given free things.
It just befuddles me.
