To Peet’s Coffee on El Camino in Menlo Park [Consumer]

To the Peet’s Coffee at 515 El Camino Real, in the Safeway shopping center in Menlo Park, I’d like to suggest the following:

When someone is aggravated enough to call you from work to tell you that you completely screwed up their coffee order, in addition to the pleasant apology that you did dispense (thank you), you should offer some sort of incentive for a customer to return and take their chances with you one more time.  The apology alone is nice, but I was expecting an incentive to return.

You’ve already stopped carrying maple scones at your location.  (It’s only their location)  Thus it’s taken an extra effort on my part to hit up your store since then, but today may have sealed your fate with my wallet.

To my Fellow Consumers:

This isn’t saying that the Peet’s in this location has issues.  They have a faster service process than the other Peet’s in downtown MP (Which is the 2nd ever Peet’s to have come into business.)

The new Peet’s has a great location and AMPLE parking in the early morning.  That’s sweet.

They have tons of space inside and that’s nice also.

To be clear, it’s a great Peet’s store.  But I can just as easily hit up the downtown Menlo Park store because I live right next to it practically and they still have maple scones.  (Nooo, I’m not focused on the maple scone thing. Really!  What sweet tooth!?)

I”d still recommend the newer Peet’s.  I’m just not going out of my way any more for the Safeway center Peet’s Coffee and Tea.
