Christian Bale in BATMAN BEGINS - is Batman a fugitive?

The latest news on the street about Christopher Nolan‘s Batman 3 is that Tom Hardy has been cast in a role in the newest Batman movie.  No official word has been released by the studio as to what role Hardy will play.

Tom Hardy’s past filmography includes Christopher Nolan’s Inception, Mimi Leder‘s Thick as Thieves, Guy Ritchie‘s RocknRolla & Matthew Vaughn‘s Layer Cake.  He’s also had roles in a few television series…  The Virgin Queen, Meadowlands and The Take.

The “news” streams have been filled with conjecture & calculations of who, where, what and what not to do with the newest Nolan Dark Knight movie.  So much so that I’d be spending every day writing up everyone’s conjectures, actors quoted desires to be in the movie and what not.  Sure, I could use the extra traffic these guessing posts can generate but I’m just too dang busy to chase every bit of guess-work.

At this moment everyone is leaning heavily on the premise that the production filming in the New Orleans area is a substantial part of a clue that the villain of the Batman 3 film will be Killer Croc.

The logic seems to be there… or is it just huge tax breaks to film there?  I think it’s a viable clue to the crook but as I like to say, time in all things, will be the telling factor for Batman 3.

Despite my bashing on conjecture, back in August I did get caught up in the premise that Batman could be a fugitive in the next film.  That’s based on what seems to be the titles that the Nolan trilogy is following.
