Everyone who is a die-hard fan of Smallville says that Tom Welling would be the perfect Superman. Through all the years, the Smallville crew has been legally restricted from using the suit. It will probably stick through Smallville’s 10th season. (I’ve got a good hunch people.)
But in the meantime, if you’d like to get a great sample of what Tom Welling would look like in the suit and cape, this fan-made YouTube trailer was put together by the same guy who put together the Thundercats fan-made movie trailer.
Sure, there are some tiny flaws throughout, but to see Darseid facing off against Superman (Tom Welling) is just a wonderful fantasy moment, indeed.
