‘Transformers 4’ First Fake Promo Art Is Here!

Transformers 4

It first appeared as if the promotional nudge for Transformers 4 may have begun.  I saw this image was called the first promo art for the movie and my source thought they dug around enough and could not disprove that it was or wasn’t fan art.

I was pretty jazzed thinking this might be the first Transformers 4 marketing but it seemed off so I went and did my own research!

With that being said, despite getting wound up, the poster on Cine1 is called a “Poster Provisional” and under the poster is a link that asks, that if you don’t know what a poster provisional is, to click.  I did and I found out what provisional means.

It isn’t in English, but I pulled up Google Translate and this is what I got out of it:

“POSTERS / POSTERS ARE PROVISIONAL ACTS / CREATED / PUBLISHED BY EDITORS OF CINE1, WHETHER OR PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL OWN CREATION.
INTERIM IS A POSTER IN OTHER WORDS, A FAN ART. A POSTER CREATED BY FANS. THESE ARE WAITING FOR AN OFFICIAL TEASER POSTER OF THE FILM.
BY THIS DISCLAIMER DO NOT KNOW IF YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORD PROVISIONAL AS WE HAVE SEEN SOME PAGES OF CINEMA.”

And for a minute, I thought we were starting to see some Transformers publicity.  Albeit, a little too early, since Michael Bay is tied up with some other things at the moment.  Plus, he was going to be redesigning some of the bots and setting this fourth, his last TF film, up for the next director.

To be honest, I do believe he is done.  This looks like a huge amount of work on his part and it must be exhausting.  But then again, it nets him some huge mega-bucks!  So if this is his last alien bot movie, I would not be surprised.  Now would I be surprised if it did not end up being his last.  Bucks are bucks.

Any how, here’s the fan art!

'Transformers 4' first

Technically, I’m betting this isn’t really the first fan art for TF4, but it’s the first I’ve seen actually hit the site circuits I follow.

On a side not, it’s amazing how many fans this movie franchise has.  There are the positive minded fans and the funny fans who go out of their way to rain profanity-laden comments out and about.
