If you hang out here at Cinema Static on Brusimm, you’ve seen my tidbits over the last few months on the new Transporter TV series that’s based on the Jason Statham starring films of the same name.
It’s being reported that Chris Vance, of Prison Break and Burn Notice notoriety, has been cast in the role of Frank Martin.
It’s being exec produced by Luc Besson, the man who co-wrote the Transporter movies and the same stunt coordination team that worked on the movies will be behind the series.
The series is coming to Cinemax, so that rules out many of fans who don’t get cable pay channels or Cinemax. I had not realized this earlier. That’s a bummer!
Andrea Osvart has been cast as his handler.
