True Blood Cast Adds Lindsay Pulsipher & A Cast Rundown

Lindsay Pulshipher (The Beast & the upcoming projects Do Not Disturb and The Story of Bonnie and Clyde) has joined the cast of True Blood.

Lindsay will be playing Crystal Norris.  A mysterious, barefoot, sundress-toting woman for whom Jason Stackhouse falls for!

Hmm, is Jason returning to his older ways?

~ There may be some slight spoilers after the page break due to the nature of the collection of character descritions ~

So far to date, we have the following actors in place for True Blood’s season 3… but these updates could be a spoiler of sorts!

  • Joe Manganiello is playing the werewolf Alcide Heveraux.
  • Grant Bowler is playing the werewolf Coot.  (We aren’t going to like what Coot does!)
  • Denis O’Hare plays the Mississippi Vampire King Russell.
  • Theo Alexander plays a vampire who likes to cook? This confused vampire is named Talbot.
  • James Frain will play a vampire named Franklin Mott, who will be making a connection with Tara.
  • Natasha Alam, whom most women on the planet will be insanely jealous of, will be playing Yvette.  A new dancer at Fangtasia who will have some inspiring intimate moments with Eric. (Alexandar Skarsgard.)
  • Marshall Allman will play Tommy Mickens, the younger brother of Sam Merlotte.
  • J. Smith-Cameron is playing Melinda.  Sam’s trashy looking mother.
  • Cooper Huckabee plays Sam’s dad, Joe Lee Mickens.
  • Alfre Woodard will play Lafayette’s mother, Ruby Jean Reynolds.  This ought to be fun since Ruby is slightly deranged.
  • Shannon Lucio will be playing Caroline Compton, Bill’s wife from his Civil War era.

A popular actor return will be Godric, played by Allan Hyde… but since he fried in the sun last season, which upset my entire household, he will more than likely be in flashbacks.

As you can see, the story we’ll be following in True Blood season 3 will be scattered about, in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi!

It should be interesting.
