HBO’s True Blood season premiere takes place on TV tonight, June 13th. It’s felt like forever since the end of season 2. HBO is running a 15 minute preview of the upcoming season at 15 till the hour, so be aware of that if you haven’t seen that already.

True Blood Season Premiere Review
This 3rd season opener for True Blood continued the same energy we have become accustomed to from the previous 2 seasons.
We get our taste of action, skin and the usual humor that the dry writing of True Blood delivers. Oh, and we got a quick preview for2011′s Game of Thrones just before the episode started.
SPOILERS from here on out:
Tara is a little off her rocker from the shooting of her boyfriend.
Stephen Moyer as Bill in True Blood
Bill found himself kidnapped but despite being fed on, he gets away from his captors.
Sookie is running all over town trying to get anyone in law enforcement to file a missing persons report for a vampire.
Jessica has accidentally killed a man while feeding on him and she’s tripping out.
Jason finds that he has to go back to his old womanizing way but he’s having performance issues.
True Blood - Eric played by Alexander Skarsgård
Eric and the Queen have issues with the Magistrate looking into the dealing of V.
True Blood Sam Merlotte
Sam Merlotte is looking for his birth parents. He’s found where they live, but that’s as far as we go for tonight.
Oh, and the wolves used in the show, are real. No CGI, no animitronics but the real thing. How cool is that?
