Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Tuesday night (11/30/10) was a tough judgement call to make…  I started the evening having to choose between Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

I chose the Grinch over Rudolph because of ABC’s holiday special called Shrek the Halls.

I think it’s really unfair that CBS & ABC made me choose between these two classics of all Christmas classics.  There needs to a new FCC rule stating that consumers won’t need to choose between the Christmas classics of Rudolph and the Grinch!  Egads.  But the Grinch, being my hero, won out!

Shrek the Halls was a pretty funny thirty-minute episode of Shrek’s first Christmas ever.  Of course when Shrek told Donkey he wanted to spend Christmas with his family, Donkey complied…  by bringing everyone to Shrek’s place for Christmas!

Shrek wasn’t too happy.  He was stressing trying to pull together his family’s first Christmas, by following his ‘Christmas for Village Idiots’ book.

There were some pretty good humor moments and of course, I brought away a new aspect about Christmas…  and that it’s not Christmas unless someone starts crying.  LOL, thanks Donkey!

The characters were voiced by the actors who portrayed them in the movies, with Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas and others.

And to think that someone could be terrified of Santa Claus…  go go go Gingerbread Cookie man!!!

Stargate Universe - Resurgence 02 - Robert Carlyle

After a bit of seasonal merriment, I headed off to watch the mid-season finale of Stargate Universe and then I finished the evening out by catching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.  Excellent holiday fare!

Footnote:  First, there are miles and miles of legs on the Victoria’s Secret show… and second, it is seriously difficult to type… type accurately while this show is on. (I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve just typed this sentence.)
