Brusimm Cinema Static TV NewsGads, I haven’t done any kind of decent TV news in a long time! Sorry about that! Here’s some TV news, or casting news, to be exact for Grey’s Anatomy, CSI and Justified cast additions:

Grey’s Anatomy

Over on TV Line, they’re reporting that Halley Fain (Gossip Girl) will be joining Grey’s Anatomy as a recurring love interest for Eric Dane’s character.

Fain’s character will be an ophthalmologist at another hospital.

News last season was that Marg Helgenberger’s Catherine character in CSI was going to be leaving the show in the first few episodes of the season.

So I’ve been patiently waiting for the cue from the cast of characters, to see how she’s going to do this. But now the word on the street is that Helgenberger will be exiting in mid-season.

But not before she gets into a steamy relationship with guest star Grant Show (Big Love).

Show will be appearing as an FBI agent who shows up to assist the CSI team with a case. They meet, they like, they… well, you know.

Also tapped for some guest roles for CSI are Matt Lauria (Friday Night Lights) and Annabeth Gish (Pretty Little Liars).

Gish will be an old friend of Catherine’s, and Lauria plays an arrogant FBI agent.

FX’s Justified is a very fun, modern-day western, so to speak, starring Timothy Olyphant.

TV Guide is reporting that Carla Gugino will have a recurring role in Justified as a Washington D.C.-based assistant director of the U.S. Marshals Service. She’s also someone who has worked with Raylan (Olyphant) in the past.

I can’t wait next season….
