Brusimm Cinema Static TV NewsHere’s some TV series renewal news gang…

BBC has renewed their version, (the original) Being Human for its fifth season.  But unlike American TV, this new fifth season is only going to have six episodes.

(Man, that will bite at the video store to pay for an entire season on Blu-ray and/or DVD and only have a few hours of show!)

And that’s not a bad thing, considering the new cast of characters.  Literally, as characters left the story.  (If you’ve been watching, you know what I mean.)

And yes, Syfy’s Being Human will also be getting a new season.. its third!

And if you had not heard or seen the news, Fox has renewed Bones for an eighth season!  And during that eighth season, Bones will have its 150th episode.

Bones will be returning with seven new episodes starting on its new night, Monday, April 2nd.

Press Preview snippet (Spoiler)

{In the first of these episodes, “The Prisoner in the Pipe,” the remains of an escaped convict are found in a residential sewer, but an examination of the sewer pipes indicates that the murder occurred within prison walls. When Brennan (Emily Deschanel) insists on solving the crime – despite Booth’s (David Boreanaz) pleas for her not to overexert herself – the expectant couple experience a very untraditional arrival of their baby daughter.}
