In the Sanctuary episode titled “Eulogy”, it’s the aftermath of Ashley (Emilie Ullerup) being apparently killed. The gang are putting the residents, new and old, back in their Sanctuary protected rooms. It’s pretty funny and interesting.
The little fairy guy could be considered funny. I wonder if he’s a new regular? Cause if he is, that ‘tude of his is going to get old, fast.
Freelander (Agam Darshi) is a greedy little b**** and she needs to be put on stasis. She ends up letting out a little baby creature while looking to cut off the tusks of it’s momma’s body that’s in stasis.

This review has been interrupted suddenly by my cat projectile-vomiting across the room. I missed a part of the middle of the episode during clean up and came back to Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping) finding a body in the wall. The body was a result of one of the super soldiers teleporting skill being thwarted.
My god, didn’t realize they could do that! (My cat that is.)

Magnus is looking at every possible angle to figure out if Ashley is dead or not. She seems to think she’s alive… or is desperately confused and in denial.
I’m still saying Freelander has to go. She is supposed to have the gun on stun, then pulls her own 9 mil.
Do you hate her as much as I do? OK, OK… she’s developing along nicely then. If I find myself hating a character, obviously the actor is doing her job.
Cinema Static Side Note:
OK, the Metro PCS ad with the big brained alien and whatever that was in the bowling alley, was actually a well placed ad during the right show… that was hilarious. Yes, coincidental I’m sure, but still.
End side note.
The little baby monster that escaped grew up fast and apparently imprinted on Freelander. Now Freelander is emotionally involved. LOL – Good girl.
I think I started seeing something between Helen and John Druitt (Christopher Heyerdahl). They have something in common at the moment, their grief for the daughter. Druitt has apparently been going on a vengeance spree with the Cabal. Good.
And finally, Helen Magnus seems to finally accept what has happened to Ashley. Wow… the memorial service is a sad moment, indeed.
I’ve touched on “Ashley” staying on Sanctuary for the rest of the season, but gads, I hope it’s not in memory sprites. That would be frustrating.
Wrapping up the Thoughts:
I’m not as emotionally caught up in this show as I am in other shows. I’m not sure if I’m approaching the show in the wrong way, or if it’s just not grabbing me at all. I want to like it, but I just can’t put my finger on what’s missing that would make this perfect for me.
Any how, another night, another episode. It was fun! I do say that.
