TV: Three Rivers Silliness

Three Rivers Logo invI previously noted that CBS swapped the first two episodes of Three Rivers.  Creative reasons and all that.

When I reported this, I presumed the episodes could stand out on their own.  What I just saw completely surprised me.

The complete and unprofessional presentation of the 2nd episode that was originally slated to be the pilot episode just barreled past the completely stupid.

What I’m saying is that in the premiere episode of Three Rivers, the team was working on their cases and characters were being introduced.  That was last week.

This week, (Tonight – just now) I was watching the show and the boss lady is introducing everyone to each other for the first time.  WTF?

And on the stations website, they’re even calling it the premiere episode.  Wow.

THIS IS THE 2ND EPISODE of Three Rivers people.  This stunt switching episodes just didn’t work out for me.  Especially since you’ve blatantly swapped episodes and you have not restructured the epi to actually look like it was the 2nd epi.

Wow… I could do a better job.  At least in this one instance.

ITA. When I saw they didn’t bother to recut the episode, I turned the channel. What a waste of good talent.

I was so disappointed in the end process that I did the same thing RIJANE.

And now, the ratings aren’t doing too hot, which ticks me off because I think CBS could have done better with the show and the writing.

I chat a bit about the ratings debacle at this link:
