Did you know that now LinkedIn and Twitter have joined forces and services that will let users post their personal status states across both networks.
Details of their agreement has been kept confidential.
For me, I don’t get it. LinkedIn is a professional site where people market their skills and resumes for all to see and share. It’s also a professional networking service, as it works out.
Twitter seems more sporadic, where people tweet some of the most useless, or senseless updates that I just don’t see how that can be applicable to a professional. I’m not sure ow someone’s dinner contents can help someone get a job, but that’s just me and I’m not much into telling you what’s on my dinner plate. (I call those crap tweets… because we know what’s coming up for these folk in 8 to 12 hours.)
I don’t know. Is this a useful association? Can someone help me try to figure this out?
