Weekend Box Office: Toy Story 3 Trounces Grown Ups

Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3 continues to playing in the No. 1 spot in box office.  Despite 2 new movies coming onto the scene, Toy Story 3 kept the contenders at bay, bringing in $59 million.

Despite looking like a fun flick, the spy action movie starring Tom Cruise, Night and Day, got trounced by the comedy Grown Ups, as Grown Ups brought in around $41 mil, making almost double what Knight & Day did ($20.5 mil).

The Karate Kid ($15.4 mil) was 4th best box office performer, followed by The A-Team, which brought in $6 mil for the weekend.
