News on the street today is that both Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy game shows, have been renewed in multi-year contracts.
Both shows have been renewed through the 2015-16 TV season, which is good news for all. On top of that, other news is that all hosts involved with both shows have also renewed their contracts through the 2015-16 TV season.
That’s more of Pat Sajak and Vanna White spinning wheels and letters while Alex Trebek will continue to ask questions with answers first!

The renewal involves the ABC Owned Television Station Group and that involves specific stations. Those being,
- WABC/New York,
- KABC/Los Angeles,
- WLS/Chicago,
- WPVI/Philadelphia,
- KGO/San Francisco,
- WTVD/Raleigh-Durham and
- KSFN/Fresno
These 7 markets account for 21% of U.S. TV watching households. This also means that Wheel of Fortune will have been running 33 seasons by the end of 2016, while Jeopardy will have been quizzing contestants for 32 seasons.
