ABC announced that they are NOT ordering any more of Selfie, and will let the series run out and finish its initial 13-episode order. Back to the Tardis with you girl!

On the other hand, they’ve added extra episodes to Forever, bringing the season count to 22 episodes. A renewal for a second season has yet to be announced. (Unless I missed it.)

For now here are the new 2014-2015 shows we know of that are getting full season orders or renewals…

  • Black-ish
  • Forever
  • Gotham
  • How to Get Away With Murder
  • Jane the Virgin
  • Madam Secretary
  • NCIS: New Orleans
  • Scorpion
  • Stalker
  • The Flash
  • The Mysteries of Laura

I’ve found myself quite surprised by the quality of the tale that Gotham is putting out, and despite the silliness of the series premiere of Scorpion, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by that series also. (For fans of Parenthood, if you watch Scorpion, tell me that Elyes Gabel‘s character, Walter O’Brien, not remind you of Max in some ways?)

I’ve also enjoyed Stalker. I am not so smitten with Maggie Q‘s character, but I find myself completely befuddled and entertained by Dylan McDermott’s character, who covers the expanse of expert stalker cop but then behind the crime scenes, he becomes this insecure cop who hopes everyone likes him, plus he is completely taken out of his head game when he’s around his ex-wife, Elisabeth Rhm‘s character, Amanda Taylor.

I am also liking The Flash, but not completely pulled in by it. Yet.

Also you might be interested to know that AMC has ordered a fifth season of Hell on Wheels, but this will also be its last season. Of course AMC is doing that dumb ass move where they “order 14 episodes” for the final season, but will be airing seven for the summer of 2015 and the last seven during the summer of 2016.

It seems infantile to me, but I’m sure it works out great for the DVD sales.
