If you do the math, Bryan Singer’s schedules don’t match up with the time frame of filming X-Men: The First Class. Singer has other projects on the books that will keep him busy until 2012, but will Fox wait for Singer?
It’s not looking like it since they’ve been meeting with other unnamed directors.

Fox has treated directors like Singer and Whedon like red headed step children, as the saying goes. One has to wonder what kind of wheeling and dealings will go on to pull this off or does Fox have an ace in the hole?
